The EPICOOPI project meets several structures for integration through economic activity (SIAE). In the field of adult education, SIAE act on public Insertion by Economic Activity (IAE) that is to say, remote populations employment DIFFICULTIES encountering social and professional integration. The project leader was the Collectif 05, association of legal entities which are all ESIS territory of the High Alps. The Collectif 05 is designed to drive a collaborative approach, exchange practices, stimulate new joint projects. The purpose of the Collective 05 was to provide through this project resources to the actors of insertion face the challenges and changes faced by SIAE: regulatory reform, links with the State and communities, evolution of the public, rising unemployment , economic constraints and changes in work organization and business model.
7 SIAE participated in the project and 18 mobilities have benefited permanent employees and volunteers of these associations. 13 people are part during a first mobility in November 2015, 5 from the first group followed one second mobility which aimed to deepen knowledge.
The project was to meet with social cooperatives and local community in the Cuneo region. The goal was to strengthen the knowledge and experience of participants and to step back on their practices.
The proposed activities are broken down in the form of group seminars and immersion period in cooperatives.
Two main dimensions were addressed:
- Discover the logic of action of the local community for the integration work and its partnership approach with social cooperatives.
- Discover the functioning and activities of social cooperatives of type B in Italy and the manner in which they combine reception of weak people and economic efficiency.
The topics and on which participants found most resource are:
- The economic model of economic organization of the business and development strategies.
- The reception of the public and the organization of human resources
- The diversity of audiences within cooperatives.
- The regulatory framework
- Two points unplanned and surprising:
o The contrast management including mental disability in a very open in Italy compared to France (closed specific areas).
o The strong presence of religious culture and faith-based organizations around the cooperatives as the justification for the action on the technical and financial support for projects.
Sharing between participants and receptions agencies was favored by pooling times during and after the mobility, which allowed an exchange promoting mutual knowledge of the realities of French and Italian.
Host organizations were a common grouping in charge of health management issues, social inclusion and the Consorzio Montviso Solidale and a group of cooperatives (union) on the region of Cuneo Conf-Cooperative.
This project enabled a step back from the participants about their practice and their approach to the changes in their structure. In all, the experience was a personal resource and creates a desire to open European and training.
On the activity of two-dimensional structures emerge in nature has come to change the current organization:
- A mix of public for mixing people far removed from employment (including intellectual disabilities) to the side of ordinary employees. But also a host to these long-term employees.
- A strong and dynamic entrepreneurial model, often closely related to ordinary economic fabric and heavily supported by charitable patrons.
Of its already visible impacts in the thinking of the participants. The collected ideas are disseminated breast organizations and networks. The organizational methods and strategies are gradually soak up the experience. Accompanying persons received is evolving.
The completed project, the Collectif 05 and consortium members have bases to pursue a partnership with Italian actors, but also the desire to pursue this training dynamic as possible by ERASMUS +.
