The project "Environmental watchdog" is a training course that will gather together, 24 youth workers and youth leaders from Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Italy, Hungary and Germany. This project aims to develop a range of skills to the youth to be effective in watchdogging, with a capability to require account to persons whose activities have an impact on social and environmental issues. These skills will be developed in the spirit of an active European citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans, including those in shaping the future of the union. Informal learning, intercultural dialogue, the growth of the encouragement of youth participation, regardless of their educational background, social and cultural background, will accompany this training course to achieve its goal. Through examples of good practice and bad practice of local community of Pogradec, youth will not only enhance their watchdogging ability but will be practically motivated to make contact with their local groups, thus becoming a contributor in the construction of futuristic Europe. Within seven days ,the young will increase their capacity in identifying the group watchdogging, monitoring, investigating and collecting data for the target group. As required from the target group, the reliance on media and preparation of a critical thinking and the evaluation of success campaigning. "Environmental watchdog" is a novelty not only about the theme and the impact it will have on civil society and youth organizations, but will exchange them into 24 young people as successful models, encouraging reflection on the new European society and its values.
