The project aims to establish a unified training course for trainers of entrepreneurs across five European countries, resulting in improved training content and delivery and thus benefiting entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs attending these courses in an effort to maximise their potential success. Project partners will initially identify the problems currently faced by entrepreneurs and as a result will develop a training course for trainers that responds to the particular needs of this target audience. Trainer-centred methodologies will be developed that, firstly, improve the training of trainers and secondly, enhance entrepreneurs' learning capabilities and post-training outcomes. Activities will be centred upon an exchange of knowledge and ideas between all project partners, in an effort to produce an effective training 'kit' that is also responsive to the particular training needs of different users. The component modules in the training 'kit' will be piloted across the partner countries, and appropriate adjustments made. The developed training 'kit' (trainer manual; trainee manual; methodological guide; didactical materials) will be made available in printed form and on CD-Rom in each of the partner languages. Dissemination activities will rely upon a dedicated project web-platform, project newsletters, transnational meetings & events and the release of articles to specialist press. Project partners will further explore the idea of accreditation for the developed training 'kit' via national regulatory bodies.
