ENTERPRISE GENDER ORIENTED
“EGO” aims to contribute to the formal recognition of gender quality through the transfer of a quality model based on the valorisation of gender differences in the companies - identified and experimented with "ADO - Azienda Donna Oriented” project - funded by POR Regione Toscana 2000-2006. The general aim of the project is to contribute to achieving the Lisbon goals on women employment through the adaptation, transfer and awareness rising on a model of certification "gender oriented". With the involvement of partners with diverse and complementary skills of a large European network (IT, ES, CZ, BG, PT) positive actions will be activated, as well as continuous training, awareness rising, improvement of work organization, implementation of formalized procedures, controls and certifications, gender mainstreaming, and will be pursued the main expected result: to bring 4 companies located in European partner Countries (organizations from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal) to achieve gender certification “EGO - Gender Oriented Enterprise" and other 5 organizations (from Italy, Spain, Czech Republic) to be trained on gender quality theme at workplace.Expected results and impact: 4 companies certified "gender oriented", 5 organizations sensitized to the issue, 40 human resources responsible and 20 managers trained on gender equality themes, 100 male and female workers sensitized to the issue, organizations of 5 European countries involved in the experimentation, activation of round table discussions/agreements/protocols, and a committee of gender mainstreaming.
