Enhancing International Earth Science Competence in Natural Hazards Research

The project aims to improve knowledge and skills required for assessment and management of naturai hazards in mountainregions, it supports exchanges of 40 Earth Sciences graduate students and promotes cross-cultural understanding andinternationalization of university curricula. Students will benefit from field training involving classic natural hazard case studies inCanada and Italy. Exchange of facuity and technicians will ensure that students' educational experiences are rich and inteiiectuallyrewarding. Work-study programs with the industry partners will supply professionai skills in advanced geotechnologies applications
