ENHANCEMENT OF RUSSIAN CREATIVE EDUCATION: NEW MASTER PROGRAM IN DIGITAL ARTS IN LINE WITH EU STANDARDS

The project is in line with the principles of the Bologna process which aims at creating an European Area for Higher Education through a common new degree system, a European dimension to quality assurance and the recognition of degrees and study periods abroad. Project wider objective is to increase effectiveness of Digital Arts (DA) education by harmonizing Russian education with the EU one and provide double degree recognition through development and introduction the Double Degree Master Program in DA. Project specific objective is to harmonize the RU and UA Master Programs in direction "DA" with the EU Master Programs in DA and provide students of 9 Russian Universities with the opportunity to study the Double Degree EU-RU Master Program in DA both in the Russian and EU Universities since September 2015 and to obtain Double Master Degree: the Russian Master degree in DA and Master Degree of one of the EU States participated in the project, for example of the Portugal or Finland, in DA. This objective will be achieved through fulfillment of the following Outcomes/Outputs: (1) Double Degree EU-RU Master Program in DA; (2) RU teachers’ skills upgrading and methodological support of the teaching process; (3) EU based Quality Assurance System; (4) International Hybrid Learning Space; (5) Students’ pilot training; (6) Quality Control & Monitoring; (7) Dissemination of the project results; (8) Sustainability of the project results; and at last, (9) Management of the project. Realization of the project will significantly increase the popularity of the DA studies among RU A students, increase possibility of the graduates for placing in a job and ensure the international labor market with the highly qualified specialists. All these will guarantee the sustainability of the project achieved results.
