The participants in this project, two teachers teaching at G11 Geringergasse, a grammar school located in the 11th district of Vienna, Mrs. Michaela Stary and Mrs. Nicola Seybold, will be professionalized with the help of this training in respect to language, language teaching, modern teaching methods and technologies, the organisation of international activities with foreign partners and international collaboration. The stated activities are also the main goals of the organisation, the G11 Geringergasse. Both teachers fulfil the criteria established by the G11: currently they are teaching and will continue teaching project classes - that is Dual Language Programme classes and classes with a special focus on individualization - at the Viennese grammar school G11 Geringergasse. The trainig is a two-week-teacher training in Galway, Ireland, which fulfils all the above mentioned goals and finishes with an international certificate. The obtained qualifications, abilities and competences will have an effect on work in class, on project plans for the project classes, on collegues and staff at G11, on future international projects with foreign partners and will have a long term and sustainable effect on the development of the G11 as such.
