The second language acquisition by children at the Children's Campus , 2013-2014 is happening in groups 1 t/m 8 . This is achieved by a native speaker of the AT schools , taking place once a week for 45 minutes. Group 1-6 also has English lessons with the same frequency. This is provided by a teacher who has participated in our ETTP training programme in the school year 2013-2014 and took part in a language course in Canterbury .By taking part in a language course in England in the 2014-2015 school year , we hope to inspire the teachers of our school and to increase the level of English of these participants. We want to expand the English education in our school to multiple age groups and modify and adjust the didactics and methodology to our vision of education for children . We want to start from a minimum of 45 minutes per week .We want to see if we can collaborate in a partnership with a school abroad, so that the children of our school can practice their English in a meaningful way. We do not want English education as a separate subject in our educational program , but we want to address education in a meaningful situation. We want the English activities for the children , integrated into the thematic teaching at our school. For this, we will be integrating those parts that need to be addressed in English ( - see above developed by AT schools curriculum ) into the thematic teaching . The lessons that will be developed for this purpose must be properly saved and archived so that they can be used not only by our school but by other schools we work with or have made contact with. It is important that In the year 2016-2017 we build upon what we have achieved in the year 2015-2016 .It will probably be necessary to enable another participation in a language course in England. We will need to continually adapt our themes and the content of our English program because we work cyclically for a number of subjects . After three years, the children will have covered all parts of the subjects that are offered . This means that it will take at least three years before all subjects are provided with matching lessons from the English program .
