Contents of the project:
Individuals in need of special education in our country until the last decade were isolated from society by the family hiding in their homes. Developing our education system, our students with disabilities in primary schools are targeted to receive training with other students with students with disabilities has begun to take place.. However, in both the physical structure of our schools have emerged as well as the lack of trained personnel. Staff needs; Although more than trained teachers to meet this training was shorter and did not reach the level of expertise. Again, corporate culture has not occurred with the education of our students with disabilities in our schools. In addition, our class is in physical condition to serve this purpose and equipped paraphernalia. Turkey applied for special education students through a curriculum that is not fully into the system. Teaching methods and techniques are known or can not be used effectively in special education will be used as support.
We have prepared according to the European Development Plan Mobility in the field of special education in European countries, providing training of staff in the school, in class terms, the applied educational methods and techniques, materials used shall be observed. The resulting data as a result of the observations applied in other schools in our own at our school and district special education activities, our understanding of what level and that the quality and we will be the guide that we do have to improve ourselves.
Project Objectives:
* School administrators and teachers to improve their qualifications on our special education.
* Our students a more sophisticated way to adapt to society.
* Our staff to increase intercultural and social competences.
* Improve ourselves by recognizing the different education systems in Europe to evaluate our current situation.
* Our staff to contribute to language development.
* To increase the motivation to learn a new language.
* Examine the structure of special education in Europe and to move our country.
* To increase the competence of special education families.
* Bring our school and the physical conditions of the classroom to the European level.
Number of Participants and Profile:
Our school administrators will be chosen 2, 8 and 2 english teacher, special education teacher, the Netherlands and Spain will form two groups of 6 people for visits.
Description of activities:
Our project consists of three main activities.
Determination of the groups participating in the mobility and activity in the first stage of the process will be discussed. Teachers will participate in mobility will be selected taking into account the success of the school. Visits and training practices will be held in the second phase. Visits will begin to monitor movement on the job from Canakkale to Istanbul from Istanbul to Spain and the Netherlands. This activities will be finished come back to Turkey. In the third stage, innovation and education changes,will be shared with school in our region the output will be spread to other schools and institutions of education. These outputs social media, will be published in local media and our school website. Report with shared output will be written to the provincial research and development of city. Again, this output will be published on the e- Twinningportal.
Used Methodology :
One of the modern methods of experiential methods which will be used. According to their needs and abilities of individuals to create awareness, participants focused on experimentation and personal gain by achieving the highest level of sharing and mutual learning process is to ensure that amused
Results and Impacts of the Project
This project staff as a result of experience gained in the field of special education and acquisition activity will be transferred to our other staff at the school. However, working in our special education staff, deficiencies of the transition from in area of classroom teacher to special education will be eliminated.
