AMSED coordinates in partnership with Solidarity Tracks a European Voluntary Service project, which plans to send four young French to Lefkas (Greece) through 2 mobilities of three months. 2 young will leave from February to April 2016, two other young people from May to July 2016. They will carry out activities related to environment protection.During their voluntary service, youth organize for local citizens, various raising awareness activities on sustainable development (with social, financial and environmental aspects) workshops and activities aimed at environment protection (eco-construction, recycling , water management, renewable energy, social solidarity and sustainable entrepreneurship)They will also organize a permanent workshop on "eco journalism" through the online magazine Green O'Clock (http://www.greenoclock.gr).These activities will help to build a dynamic in the host community. They will also strengthen the link between generations through acts of solidarity, to emerge among young people and citizens a culture of sustainable development and encourage young people to express themselves freely through the electronic newspaper Green O'Clock.Volunteers will gain a unique intercultural experience and develop various skills which will increase the chance for their employability, while enhancing their personal and professional capacities.The volunteers will work with the team and partners of the host organization to implement successfully their activities and achieve the desired learning objectives.
