Start date: Jul 1, 2016, End date: Oct 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

France nowadays counts with 400,000 social workers in France, each of them playing a vital role in the fight against exclusion to promote inclusion and recovery of social ties. Facing significant changes in our society: aging population, the increase of vulnerable populations, impoverishment, unemployment and thus, increased exclusion phenomena, social professions are in deep evolution. In this sector, the need for skilled staff is becoming increasingly important. In this context, " ASKORIA - solidarity professions," the first training Center in social work in France in terms of activities and staff, proposes the project called EMIFOSS II " Promoting Mobility in health and social sectors " as an answer for students of levels V and IV preparing the professional diploma of Youth, Popular Education and Sports ( BPJEPS ), the Monitor-Educator degree including apprentices (ME and MEA), the technician's diploma of Social and family Intervention (TISF) and the diploma of Social Home Health Aid soon called Social and Educational Accompanying Person (AES).This project aims to develop the European mobilities within the training of the students, through individual and collective mobility projects including short practical training, visits of social companiesand theorical lessons. In parallel but complementary, ASKORIA joined the consortium directed by the Regional Council of Brittany to develop the following mobilities:- teaching and training mobilities of ASKORIA’s staff within training centers and partner companies,- professionals from the European partner companies.EMIFOSS II concerns today 24 participants (including 22 students and 2 accompanying teachers) directly involved in the V and IV level trainings: BPJEPS, ME and MEA, TISF, AVS. But the projects and the partnerships which it intends to develop will serve as a support to multiply the collective mobilities of the TISF and the AES in 2017.The project methodology follows a Gantt implementation of activities including information, project selection, preparation, implementation, realisation and evaluation. The Gantt progress will follow a process inspired from previous ASKORIA collective mobility projects such as Leonardo da Vinci (since 2007), technical sessions (since 1999) and projects of individual practical training (since 2001).It aims to:1. For students and apprentices: participate in the improvement of:- Higher qualification and professionalisation of new graduates, easy to identify by the Europass Skills Passeport,- Stronger autonomy and larger open mind,- Better employability through the acquisition of intercultural and language skills.2. For ASKORIA trainers:- Participate in the development of the quality of our training, recognition of skills of our future professionals by social companies in the healthcare and social sector.3. For target publics, improve the quality of:- The support offered to users,- The implementation of the individualized and supportive care project. The EMIFOSS II project impacts are the following:- A contribution to innovation in professional practices and pedagogy for levels IV and V of health and social curricula,- A transfer and skills enhancement in regional, national and European structures from health and social environment. At a long term, EMIFOSS II should offer the advantage of having contributed to:- The creation of the HEPASS (Social and Health Care University) and the formalization of a European network of Social and Health Care University partner network in Europe,- European recognition of diplomas level V and IV, facilitating the movement and employment of qualified social workers BPJEPS, ME, MEA, TISF and AES in Europe.
