Twelve-month EVS project "Empowering youth through EVS" will take place in Ljubljana. Volunteers from Serbia and Croatia will join our team of the Institute Voluntariat as their hosting organization, in which they will be involved in implementing various activities and events within the general program of organization. With this project, the Institute Voluntariat continues its work and gives volunteers the opportunity of working and living in a new cultural environment (intercultural learning), on the other hand, young people in the local community will get the opportunity to see how this mobility projects are handled and performed in practice. EVS volunteers will work together with other EVS volunteer from Spain and local volunteers to help to organize Voluntariat promotional activities, preparing and conducting workshops, trainings for other volunteers and will be involved in developing and organizing social and other activities of "Club of volunteers". Club of volunteers serves as a meeting place for past and present volunteers and gives them the opportunity for a constructive and active participation and exchange of ideas. EVS volunteer will also be included in the project of social entrepreneurship, project of Skuhna, which includes migrant cooks, Festival of migrant films and the international volunteer camps. EVS volunteer will be encouraged throughout the project to ensure that they develop new personal ideas and approaches for organization and in the sense of activities within the "Club of volunteers". In this way, they will learn to use their creativity and self-initiative to strengthen their competencies, skills, and knowledge and practical experience in the field of organization so they can increase their employment opportunities.
