eHoof – interactive educational tool on hoof anatomy, farriery and podiatry

The chief aim of this project is to transfer the innovative teaching aid eHoof into the English language. eHoof was developed primarily for use by farrier trainees and veterinary students. The interactive, multimedia structure aims to increase learning capacity and motivation in the target group. Furthermore, eHoof can be used as a work of reference for the continuing personal development of farriers and vets. The development of a multilingual glossary of terms and definitions related to the hoof and horseshoeing aims to facilitate access to both, eHoof and to other English specialist literature for farriers and vets. An additional aim of the project is the transferral of eHoof’s content from a “static” data carrier to an internet platform to guarantee the continual update and extension of the content.
