12 of our nursery students would like to gain professional training experience abroad. Their aim is to test their theoretical and practical knowledge in an other European country. The participants will be placed into 2 hospitals ( Vienna International Medical Clinic and Rudolfienerhaus). Students will assist the nurses in the following areas: Patient check in, Care Diagnostics, Care Therapy. In cooperation with Austraining we have choosen 2 hospitals where there are lot of foreign staff and patient, so our students will be able to communicate in English with them. It is a very important aim to develop the professional language skills, and to become more confident. Other aim is to build a good and long-term relationship with our partners (Austraining and the 2 hospitals as well)so they will accept our students and later our teachers as well for a practical training. This practice will be an important reference for all the participant when they will step into the labour market. The language and professional knowledge will always be a plus for them. And so for to school. Students will be able to use their knowledge in the everyday patient care in the following fields: nursing theory , nursing philosophy , nursing practice, patient check in, care diagnostics, care therapy. This practice will promote the students developement not only in professional and language skills, but in their self-confidence as well.
