Teacher’s profession is the one requiring constant development, being aware of changes in educational system but most of all our students’ current needs. “Education of the future – technology, know-how, and experience” project as part of Erasmus+ will improve vocational qualifications of our school (Zespół Szkół Inżynierii Środowiska i Usług in Elbląg) teachers, it will also fulfil our students’ educational needs.Our teachers will participate in education oriented courses organized by professional training institutions in Spain and Malta. Our teaching staff will gain new skills and will enrich: their ICT competences, innovative methodology solutions and their forms of activation. Thanks to those activities they will improve the attractiveness of their teaching methods, will inspire more curiosity and attention of our students in daily work.The aims are:- improvement of quality and effectiveness of teaching,- searching for innovative educational solutions,- effective use of ICT tools in teaching,- improving foreign language skills,- establishing international relations.“Education of the future – technology, know-how, and experience” project will make it possible to create a modern teaching staff. Thanks to innovative teaching methods, we will support our students’ personal development and their social involvement. The project will promote various learning ways and methods among our students. We will make them active members of learning process. The students will acquire skills that will let them continue further education or find jobs.The project will help improve our school, its teaching attractiveness and will become a very important factor motivating our students to learn foreign languages and to improve their results at school. The experience we are going to gain thanks to the project will be used while creating international Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects. We will promote ZSIŚiU locally as modern school that uses European experience and good practices in teaching.
