Education populaire et formation des adultes à la citoyenneté - échanges de pratiques sur les pédagogies impliquantes
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: Dec 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Facing the challenges of popular education in Europe, la Ligue de l’enseignement wishes to start an important research and exchange work on participatory pedagogical practices in the field of non formal education, with a focus on the inclusion of digital tools and the notion of active participation. This objective is shared by several other European organisations, among which ABF (Sweden) and WEA ( United-Kingdom), who are partners of this mobility project. In order to mobilize its national trainers team in the perspective of this project and develop its competences, la Ligue de l’enseignement carries out a learning mobility project, which will consist in two mobility periods in the United Kingdom and in Sweden. This will enable 16 trainers from la Ligue’s network to discover, observe and adapt participatory methods used by the partners of the project. Dematerialized training, including Open Badges, of volunteers and facilitation techniques of Study Circles will be the main focus. At the end of this project, la Ligue de l’enseignement wishes that the trainers involved adapt and experiment these new participatory pedagogical methods on their territory. In a long term perspective, the partners of the project are willing to prepare and submit a strategic partnership in 2017, to be implemented in 2017-2018.
