Within the project "Ecology as the best way to social innovation" was a youth exchange organized by the Association for Children in Puer Futuro on 04-11.04.2016 The place of the action was Warsaw To participate in the exchange have invited 48 young people from 6 different countries: Polish, Lithuania, Croatia, Portugal, Slovakia and Greece. The aim of our project was to develop a positive environmental attitudes among young people, to encourage our partner organizations to consider how to actively engage in the promotion of sustainable development and nature conservation in their local environment and the acquisition of new knowledge and experiences among the participants. All the goals we have successfully realized through the application of the formal methods of teaching, workshops, debates, discussions, meetings with experts in various fields, field games and working in groups. Topics which we discussed the most is a healthy food, ecology, consumer awareness, and modern construction. The project contributed significantly to the acquisition of knowledge among young people about social responsibility, also conducted a number of talks on climate change, youth realizing how important it is to take care of the environment. During the workshop "Ecology in my country," we had a great opportunity to ensure that compare to their methods of environmental protection used in other countries, together we selected a few that we think are the best solution by working in a multicultural environment, participants got rid of their prejudices, they became more open to other cultures and broke their language barriers.
