Tambour Battant and Georgian Youth for Europe, are running a project which aims to foster the inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities in volunteering activities for the community benefit and the cooperation between youth organisations in France and in Georgia. The main activity which is planned within this project is Short term European Voluntary Service.- Project Title: Eco Style, get ready- Partners: o TAMBOUR BATTANT (France) o GEORGIAN YOUTH FOR EUROPE (Georgia)- Venue: Rustavi, Georgia- Start date : July 1st 2016- End date : July 31st 2016- Number of participants: 10 participants from France- Participants’ Profile : young people (18 - 26 years old) motivated and interested in youth work and in outdoor activities. No educations level, no experience neither language skills are required. Only the motivation and the commitment will be taken into consideration for the selection of the participants.Summary and context of the project:The project’s objective is to promote initiatives and non-formal education activities for young people and children from Rustavi city.The project will increase the opportunities for youth to realize themselves in physical and intellectual field as well as actively participate in the development and implementation of local projects. The project will take place in Rustavi where is based host organisation, and also in Kakheti Region, where GYE is developing –Youth Eco Village-Pona.The main aims of the project are:1) Development of civil society;2) International development cooperation;3) Raise awareness about active European Citizenship among youth;4) Foster Intercultural Dialogue;5) Development of the sens of initiative among youth;Project will give the volunteers and local Georgian youth a possibility to exchange their experience, their views on numerous issues, thus breaking down stereotypes, eliminating prejudices and experiencing similarities and differences between different European citizens.
