ECNL - European Computer Networking License (supported by e-learning)

The ECNL project will design and develop a vocational training package (1000-2000 hours duration) for use in the training of technician-level ICT specialists.Project activity will comprise; creation of a pan-European professional profile for the role of ICT technician, development of a standard syllabus & core package of technical training modules and introduction of a common model for the pan-European certification of training.Target groups for the ICT training package include designers & managers of training programmes, managers & directors of human resources and those entering or currently employed within the sector.As learning will be encouraged through the use of Open and Distance Learning (ODL), electronic tools for the analysis of acquired competencies and auto-evaluation of training will also be created. A dedicated website will be established to host both the training package and additional support tools/materials. All project results will be further output on CD-Rom (EN).Dissemination of project results and achievements is planned through a series of seminars & conferences both at national and international level, particularly addressed to labour market representatives & educational networks.
