"Eat slow, move fast" is a Youth Exchange based on the development of skills and informations related to the Slow Food, to thehealthy diet and active lifestyle, with the aim of teaching to participants how to improve their eating habits and reduce the waste offood.The project involves the informal group Italian "The Neverland", the Germany association "Haus der offenen Tür", the Estonianassociation "Mittetulundusühing Youth Senate Tallinn" and the Coratian "Mladi za Marof" for a total of 32 (Thirty-two) people and6 (six) activity days.The partecipants of the exchange will be involved in laboratories, workshops and lessons about the Slow Food and the zerokilometer food; in particular, there will be challenges of cooking with healthy foods, sports competitions to encourage a healthylifestyle and informative lessons on foods and products.Participants will be active part of the project activities, cause a constructive approach, based on freedom of thought, culturalexchange, mutual intuition and personal creativity, can help people to really change their habits in a better way.All the activities will done this by adopting informal learning methods: we use role play and team building to develop participantsskills, we use non formal exercises for every information that we provide and we always encourage free thinking and free expressionof thoughts and feelings.Intercultural communication will be developed through work in mixed groups, through the cultural nights and through showing thecultural traditions and especially Italian food.The main purpose of the project is to connect local community of small producers of Ferrara with international young and active people from other countries all around Europe, to sharing knowledge and experiences.This is also a great opportunity to promote Italian products in foreign countries.
