PROJECT
FINISHED
In this project we hosted 4 volunteers in 2 Hosting Organisations for 9 months from October 2014 till the end of June 2015.
All volunteers will worked with children and youth. The methods volunteers used in their working place support and promote non-formal and informal learning: thanks to them volunteers can learn by working and also living in different culture. Volunteer also had a possibility to gain skills in work with kids (kindergarten age and youth club - till 18 y.o.). Almost all spoke a Slavic language before, hence they learnt polsih language very easily and already afoter couple of weeks started communicating with kids. Due to the fact STRIM hosted 20 volunteer in that time, they also learnt other languages and enhanced their knowledge on interculturalism, polish culture, EU related issues.
Due to personal situations we had a change of a Turkish volunteer in October and then the second volunteer who came as replacement had to leave Poland one month before the planned date of his departure (May 2015).
