Youth exchange project E-POSS will be held in Liepaja during 15.03.2015.- 21.03.2015. Project main aim is to promote young people's active participation, through non-formal education methods, learning from each other, get to know diversity of European cultures, to develop the ability to see the unifying elements of cultural diversity. Project involves such countries as Portugal, Romania, Italy and Latvia. Target group is young people aged from 18 to 25 years, 8 persons from country and 2 group leaders. Activities will take place in Liepaja’s Children and youth centre department “Youth house”. To create unique unified message in intercultural dimension is planned to implement three workshops as animation, music and puppet workshop. Planned result is four audiovisual animations. Animations created in stop motion technique in proposed movie genres – comedy, horror, drama and adventure, combined with soundtrack from music workshop and with characters from puppet workshop. Puppets will be presented in exhibition. Each workshop includes such work methods as energizers, ice-breaking, team building, discussion, brainstorming, cooperative learning, case studies, role play, simulation games, team work and learning by doing. Participants will gain practical skills in work with photo technology and appropriate computer programs, practice skills using different music instruments and technologies, experience in recording studio. Working with a variety of materials and techniques participants will be trained in puppet making and introduced in basics of puppet movement. Also participants will be introduced with possibilities of stage design. Audiovisual animations will promote and ensure sustainability and interaction with other cultures in Europe.
