e-Learning Strategy for the development of Key Competencies for Lifelong Learning by taking advantage of Job Placements Programmes

This project is aimed at using and adapting materials and products developed in previous projects, relying on new technologies to offer distance learning training in key competences to people who participate in mobility projects across Europe. This training involve a learning, tutoring, follow-up and assessment system applied during the acquisition of professional competences at work-linked training. The project fosters the use of qualification transparency instruments, thus supporting and improving the Europass programme through a certificate common to institutions working in the mobility sphere. The main goal of the project is to ensure that citizens get the training, assessment and certificates they need regarding key competences during work-linked training outside their country. These elements constitute the grounds for the COMPETT project. The are innovative aspects leading to the quality improvement of mobility programmes as they pertain to one of the operating purposes of the Lifelong Learning Programme: to “encourage mobility improvement both qualitatively and quantitatively in Europe among people who are involved in lifelong learning […].”
