This project serves to overcome barriers and make friends. The project should work together 3 program countries - Germany , Poland , Lithuania. The overall coordination is carried out by the staff of the club meeting . From 14.10. - 26.10.2014 we plan to carry out the international youth exchange . The preparatory meeting with all stakeholders to serve as a prelude and detailed preparation. Thus we can clarify any problems and implementation issues in advance. 12 days are scheduled for a particular encounter and should be carried out by international guest house in Prenzlau , Brandenburg, Germany . It is conceivable rotating to change the encounter country every 2 years. 45 young people ( 15 per country ) aged 13-18 years who have little to otherwise due to financial reasons no opportunity for exchange and encounter , should benefit by participating in this project. We are planning a balanced participation of boys and girls and men and women as caregivers (6 persons) from all participating countries. Through informal learning in the form of group and individual work , workshops, common leisure activities such as cooking , dance, sports and creative work, intercultural evenings , the debate on the different rights, duties and cultures , young people learn from each other . They discover their social and cultural similarities and their differences and be aware of those . With our extracurricular activities, we want to support young people in their own personal development and the development of tolerance and mutual understanding. The active citizenship of young people in general and their European citizenship in particular should be encouraged with this project. By participating in the project, the mutual understanding between young people will be encouraged and developed in different countries. In a follow-up phase, the project is evaluated. Here , the objective is to collect all the positive and negative experiences and possibly retain the knowledge gained as a benchmark for a new project approach .
