"Path to the vocational success" project starts on the 1st June 2015 and will last for 12 months. We are going to recruit 30 students from our school (Bolesław Prus School in Częstochowa), who are being trained as mechatronics technicians, electronics technicians and IT technicians. The participants will go to the Germany for one month internship in German enterprises. The youth will be assisted by two supervisors. Pre-term the internship: 15th November 2015 - 12th December 2015. In our region, there is a high level of unemployment, especially amongst the young people. Employers are reluctant to employ people without experience, which – as a result – affects the gradual increase of the unemployment rate in the district. This very project is a response to this issue. Our aim is to increase professional competence of young people through offering them an opportunity to gain professional experience, and improving their competitiveness on the local labor market. We would like to show the students the opportunity to learn solutions which are used in prosperous companies. Foreign internship will positively affect their activity on the labor market and raise their self-esteem, develop their language skills and widen vocabulary related to a particular line of business. Well-educated professionals, who are able to establish cooperation with foreign entrepreneurs, know innovative solutions and are aware of intercultural differences, but also tolerant, will – in the future- care of our region development and passing on good practices.
