The project ‘Let us improve our knowledge of CLIL and ICT'’ is aimed at the foreign language teachers working at our school and the managerial staff responsible for the foreign languages department in our institution. The project implies the participation of 12 people ( 10 teachers + 2 managerial staff) speaking English and/or Spanish and/or German. Their participation provides the wider perspectives being the interesting context for comparisons of issues connected with the aspects of multiculturalism, multilingualism. It also gives opportunity to compare methods, techniques used in teaching different foreign languages. It may be the good start for the transfer of knowledge among teachers of different foreign languages.The most important project objectives:- Development of linguistic skills and intercultural awareness,- Improvement of participants’ key competencies and skills for work (e.g. ICT competencies, CLIL in language teaching),- Acquaintance with the schools and other educational institutions abroad: their methods, techniques, group specification, the national and cultural background of students, extracurricular activities, the use of technical equipment.We also expect that the contact with the teachers and other representatives of educational institution from abroad may result in the further cooperation: school exchanges, eTwinning projects, etc.The project starts – June 2016 and ends- June 2018 and includes, among others,2 two-week mobilities to the UK or Malta or Spain or Germany ( 2 participants in 2016 and 10 participants in 2017)The participants will take part in specialized courses for teachers and/or for managerial staff in renowned teacher development centres.
