Don't panic! Solving conflict is not impossible! is a Training Course under Action 3.1 of the YiA Program to be hosted from the Albanian Association "Centre for Social Development". The TC will welcome 9 partner promoters from EU, SEE and Turkey, with a number of 27 participants. The theme of this training is conflict management, exploring ways how to intervene in solving conflict, how to mange confliction situations in youth and volunteer work and how to address conflict in the best way so that it becomes a learning experience for the parties involved, rather then a destroying thing. During the 7 days of program participants will have an opportunity to explore ways and examples on why and how conflicts can arise and in which way they can be approached for the best results. A space will be also set for participants to practice the skills gained though preparing workshops about conflict management and having possibility to get feedback from the trainers team as well as from each other. The objectives:- Train 27 youth workers how to prevent conflictive situation in youth work.- Equip participants with tools on how to approach different conflictive situations in youth work - Promote sharing of experiences and good practices on conflict resolution - Explore impact of cultural misunderstandings in conflictual situation especially in EVS and other actions of YiA- Promote the non formal education approach as a powerful method of dealing with conflict - Promote the YIA program and the space and support it gives to youngster to explore different topic in a multicultural environmentThe whole training course will be based on the non formal education approach and learning by doing letting space to participants to learn through use of different methods such as: small/big group work, role plays, simulation exercises, debates, theoretical input and practical work, real conflict cases to solve, etc. Kolb Learning cycle will be applied during the whole program.
