“DO YOU THINK IT’S ALL RIGHT ? “ is a youth exchange that will gather together organizations from 6 countries :Cyprus ,France,Latvia,Poland,Spain,Romania.The activities will take place in Busteni ,Romania between 4-12 june 2015 with 32 youngsters and group leaders.
The project takes place in a context when in a developing Europe because of migration and cultural mix occur cases of trespassing human rights ,their numer increasing every year in spite of strong democracy and clear legislation.
Youngsters are a category vulnerable to discrimination ,hate and intolerance in understanding cultural diversity.Four from the six partners developed for 2 years a cycle of projects using a lot theater as a tool for nonformal education.The discussions from last exchange led to a common need concerning promotion of human rights so the partnership was expanded with other 2 partners proposing a new cycle of 6 exchanges on human right topic.
The aim of the project is promoting cultural diversity and human rights among youngsters from Europe in order to reduce any kind of discrimination.The mai objectives are identification of discriminatory tendencies effects and of solutions for defend democratic values,promotion of forum theater and land art as tools for increase tolerance of youngsters and their capacity of fight against stereotypes,marginalization,religious hate,xenophobia,rasism and valorification through nonformal education methods ( land art and social theater ) of creative potential of youngsters, developing new skills and competences and expanding cooperation between youngsters and their structures for new international mobility and education projects.
Main activities will be preparation,introduction.getting to knoe eachother,presentation of organizations and participants,introduction of Erasmus + programme and youthpass certificate,presentation of universal declaration of human rights.thematic workshops,outdoor activities,intercultural evenings,cultural visits.Tha main workshops will be 2 sections : forum theater and land art.Evaluation activities will be daily,midterm and final and will be in national groups,reflection groups and in plenary.During the project there will be activities of monitorizing,management and visibility.
The project includes 6 youngsters with fewer opportunities from rural and poor areas.
Methodology is based on nonformal education and will consist of games,presentations,debates,role plays,forum theater and land art.
Expected final results are 2 forum theater plays based on cases identified in preparaoty phase and 12 land art pieces that will be used to create 3 photoclips.
Impact of the project will be at the participants level by developic new competences and assimilation of new methods and a better awareness of importance of human rights.The organizations will get more trained youngsters and will be part of a new partnership for expanding youth cooperation in Europe for new projects.The local communities will have youngsters that can be real leaders to promote democratic ideas and will find solution to discrimination problems and human rights violation.
Dissemination of results will be realized by all partners with a DVD and a blog created by youngsters and the initiative of follow up will lead to project’s sustainability and expanding cooperation between youngsters in frame of Erasmus +.
