The participants in the Project 48 students out of 336 studying nursing in grades 11 and 12 of Ladik Mesleki ve Teknk Anadolu Lisesi and Çarşamba 75. Yıl Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, and 6 teachers, who will determined in accordance with the criteria. The students are taught English 4 lessons a week. The students will have studied some basic lessons like nutrition, development, communication in medical services, vocational rights and responsibilities, anatomy and physiology, aseptic practices, specific caring practices, system diseases and basic medicinal knowledge.Diabetics, is a chronic disease causing mortality and morbidity, featured having sugar level above normal level resulted from lack of insulin secretion or inadequacy insulin effect causing a disorder in protein, carbohydrate and fat metabolism. The diabetic epidemiology varies in different countries in different cultures. About 5-10% of all diabetic people have diabetics type 1, 90-95% with type2. Since 10% of our countries population have diabetics the need for nursing in diabetics has increased. The nurses who have knowledge in modern practices, having been trained at EU level theoretically and practically, able to use technological devises and programmes effectively stand out in meeting these needs. Due to financial, managerial and structural problems of the consortium members, we decided to prepare this project. Within the project, we will promote the vocational qualifications and skills of the studentsin Nursing Department and the teachers in the field through a 3 week internship training in pedicure centres, which will make our school more qualified. Our teachers will be more effective in their lessons. It will increase the employability of our students. They will also develop themselves in terms of their personality. After the approval of the project, 3 groups of 16 students in nursing department will receive a 3 week internship training, 2 weeks for theoretical training and 1 week for practical training, between 01.04.2017-22.04.2017 in Strední zdravotnicka skola in Check Republic, Daugavpils Medical College in Latvia, Bókay János Humán Szakközépiskola in Hungary.
