Divadlom proti bezdomovectvu mládeže
Start date: Sep 28, 2015, End date: Feb 27, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Training course “Theatre against youth homelessness” is designed for 20 youth workers who are working with socially excluded youngsters , including young people dropped out of school, orphans and young people coming from re-education and youth from unprivileged families. The project aims to acquire working methods resulting from drama-therapy, art therapy, Theatre of the Oppressed technique and the Hero journey method and get a theoretical basis for the work with the group to actively encourage young people after a positive change, personal development and growth. The participants of this training course will learn techniques to support entrepreneurship of the youth and its inclusion into the society. The content of the training will lead participants through the drama-therapeutic and art therapeutic process in order to work with young people and will show how to work with a group of young people and to develop with them a coherent artistic performance. The participants of the training with their groups of youngsters will participate in the International festival of homeless theatres ERROR in November 2016 where they will present the results of their work. With this project we want to highlight the issue of youth homelessness, share concrete solutions and preventative work with young people in European context. Partner organisations come from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Iceland and Slovenia. Training course “Theatre against youth homelessness” is organised in Bratislava by Divadlo bez domova (Theatre With No Home).
