"Discover, Dream and DO 2" is a training course which will take place in Rhodopy Mountain's rural area in Bulgaria. The project themes are youth unemployment and education through non-formal methods. The aim of our project is training and empowering youth workers to become creators of better educational projects and activities in order to increase young people’s employment chances. To achieve our aim we have the following goals: - Increasing the level of knowledge and understanding of the empowerment process and non-formal education. - Developing practical abilities by using and adapting different tools and non-formal methods for employment. - Increasing motivation of youth workers in order to become stronger professionals. - Developing youth workers’ vision for a long term interventions. The training course will take place between 1st and 8th September and it consists of 7 full training days. The 24 participants will come from Romania, Cyprus, Turkey, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Bulgaria. The team of 4 trainers and 2 support persons will have responsibility to create learning environment and to motivate participants for future development. The training process begins with an induction phase when the participants receive a set of newsletters with theoretical content and reflection questions. During the training we will discuss issues concerning youth unemployment, we will experience different empowering tools and methods and we will develop different strategies for intervention. At the end of the training we will create an Empowerment Guide and the participants will continue the training with a period of mentoring and on-line learning.
