1.THEMATIC FIELD OF THE TRAININGS involve: Active citizenship, ICT-Information and communication technologies, Inclusive approaches, Pedagogy and Didactics, School improvement and quality evaluation, School management and school autonomy, Education management and project management, European citizenship and Heritage and European dimension.2.MAIN LANGUAGE used for the trainings is English.3.PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS: School education, involving Pre-Primary and Primary schools4. TARGET AUDIENCE is: Teachers from Primary and Secondary schools5. OBJECTIVES: These hands-on, practical courses are intended for teachers and staff of educational institutions who would like to promote their classes on the web, improve communication with their potential course participants and build strong online marketing channels and enrich their cultural European heritage. A wide range of free available technologies is introduced and explored during the training courses. Introduction and Preparation to Digital Marketing for Schools is of a crucial importance. Marketing belongs to everyday life of young people and its use as a learning tool provides extra motivation for students and is based on their interests and everyday reality .On the other hand, the consequences of contemporary pluralist society create culturally challenging educational environment in EU. It is recognized that there is a need for methodology and pedagogical strategies of Intercultural education that are consistent with both local realities and European space exploring the comparative view on various common and cross-cultural issues.The participants will work with sensitiveness to individual differences, in order to be prepared to meet different cultures.Various methods will be used to reflect cultural and heritage diversity and explore numerous sociocultural similarities and differences in order to develop cultural identity. Thus, cultural heritage in education determines the focus on values, attitudes, critical thinking and consciousness rising of students rather than simply on knowledge acquisition.This learning experience not only improves intercultural educational practice but supports and empowers both national and European community. 6.METHODOLOGY: The courses use a variety of methodologies, with the emphasis on variety and interactive learning approaches:-Aspects of cultural diversity and heritage in education-ICT tools in intercultural education-Methodology of developing media literacy( still and moving images and digital books) in the teaching and learning processesDeveloping computer literacy by the use of e. learning platform, interactive boards and the digital books( "The cloud")-Seforms. Video clips, slides and other visual media are used to illustrate aspects of cross-cultural communication and working styles7.FOLLOW UP-By the end of the course, participants will -Have good understanding of the key conceptual frameworks of the intercultural field of digital marketing-Be able to incorporate digital elements into their own areas of training-Have will get basic information about how to research, plan and write their content, optimize their writing style and experience the power of words which turn website visitors into fans and customers. They will learn what kind of content their students are interested in; how to research, plan and optimize blog posts and what other types of content they should use to grab attention-Use ICT in education(including interactive boards)-Develop independent study skills8.DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES:-Digital media in intercultural education, in the aspect of national educational systems: participants' presentations-Presenting the purpose of intercultural educational studies-the basics of Social Media Marketing and why people use Social Media. The participants will set up a Facebook Fanpage for their own institution.-The management of cultural diversity in education-In-depth study of cultural diversity in an international education context-The photography as a tool in teaching and learning--learn how to optimize the content and prepare the school´s site user friendly-Presentation of practical implication of intercultural and media education in teaching and learning process, using cultural heritage -Practical work with participants divided in groups.Participants will gain a good understanding of the key conceptual frameworks of the intercultural field, being able to incorporate intercultural elements into their own areas of training, developing critical understanding of the principles of intercultural and cross-cultural education. All these activities will result in long-term benefits, both for the teachers as well as the students. There will be immediate good outcomes that will be felt within the good quality classes, making them more interesting for the students, engaging them in a more creative environment.
