Edulife Association is a young non-profit organization of Craiova, SV Oltenia region.
The main activities of the Association are oriented to:
- Promoting, supporting, developing and coordinating activities that contribute to community development in terms of educational, social, cultural, environmental, tourism, sports and religion;
- Improving the organization and functioning of civil society by identifying and promoting European values;
- Education, training, retraining and supporting labor market insertion of young people and adults.
For the association can advance various projects in education of children and adults is necessary to strengthen its own institutional capacity through:
- Developing for the active staff members and volunteers of skills and competencies relevant to the activities to be attended;
- Increasing the number of members and active volunteers
A first step towards strengthening the institutional capacity is this project the association members and volunteers will participate in training in the fields of IT, intra- and interpersonal skills development, human resource management.
This project aims to accomplish the following objectives of Edulife Association, in accordance with the objectives of Erasmus +:
1. Increasing the institutional capacity qualitatively and quantitatively
2. Developing the European Dimension of the Association
The association aims to develop skills and competencies of its members in the areas of effective communication, creative thinking and Information and Communications Technology to organizational development and internationalization. Participants will be chosen so that the results of their training to integrate optimally in the future work of the organization, contributing significantly to its development and internationalization according to the European Development Plan. Persons involved in this project will be chosen so as to have communication skills in English, knowledge of PC, Office, Internet, interest in personal and organizational capacity development in the direction of effective communication and creative thinking.
The courses will be attended by 3 persons / course.
The courses to be attended by selected members and volunteers will be:
- Course "Developing Effective Communication Skills" - The course shows participants the basic principles of transactional analysis as they were designed by its creator, Eric Berne, American psychiatrist and the neuro-linguistic programming.
- Course "Encouraging creative thinking" seeks transfer to participants the ability to think both creatively and to stimulate creative thinking among departmental colleagues, target groups of the projects within the association, the learners
- The "Digital Extra" is subscribing to the themes: digital media, mobile in educational activities, eLearning, examples of good practice in application of new technologies in non-formal education (videocasting , podcasting , screencasting)
The selected course Providers - Eucourses.eu (Sweden), Skupina Primera (Slovenia), ITC (Czech Republic) - through experience they’ve got, good feedback from previous participants, effective communication with the association to establish joint action plan, fit the needs of association giving the premises for a successful project.
Europass tools (Europass CV Europass Language Passport, Europass Mobility) and certificates of participation for validating learning outcomes will be used.
The results of the project are:
Tangible:
- certificates of participation, Europass Mobility Documents
- agreements signed between the association and participants, between the association and partners
- The Efficient communication kit, brochures, handouts, tutorials
Intangible:
- Skills and competencies as described for each course, language skills and personal work experiences, knowledge, developing, learning European values
- Organizational development, increasing European dimension, boosting quality of the activity
Project Impact will apply to participants, the institutions involved and the target groups to whom will be disseminated the results of the project, at local / regional / national and European level.
Association will develop both qualitatively and quantitatively by increasing the number of members and volunteers, the training courses offered, the number of projects developed.
The new contacts set will be exploited in future efforts to strengthen the European dimension, the internationalization of the association.
