The Regional Directorate of Isparta is belongs to Ministry of Family and Social Policies. The regional organization has 12 sub-institutions for disadvantaged groups to take Social Services. In the field of Adult Education, organizing the learning activities for local people, disadvantaged groups in the institutions and care professionals works with them.
Development of Sustainable Competences For Working with Disadvantaged Groups Project is defined under three main headings :
Access for disadvantaged, Disabilities-Special needs, Intercultural / intergenerational education and (Lifelong) Learning. There will be 16 participants who willing to get involved in the Project to gain a vision both individually and the disadvantaged groups that they work, as well from the international and proffesional support of the Project. The participant personnels who want to improve the vocational skills and self development, have the sense of flexible and entrepreneurial spirit, want to recognize the Europe from an innovative perspective by the help of the Project. Theese participants has the certificate from the Ministry of Family and Social Policies to work on Adult Education area with disadvantaged groups and the care proffessionals which work with them . Some of them also have the studies on Academic field.
The main activities of the Project has 3 stage which is preparation, mobility and evaluation. In the preparation phase, the selection comission will be established to the democracy and the transperancy of the selection. After the selection part, the participants start to have preparation courses as scientific training, orientation and language fields. The mobility part has two main actions such as training courses and job shadowing/observation in order to view and analyze different models of social services in European countries: United Kingdom, Spain and Netherland. At the end of the mobility, the studies will be evaluated and the Project report will be published.
The expected impact of the Project is to increase the quality of services and the work performance of personnel as desired behavior change. Also, as required by EU social workers , social management skills are expected to gain as well. In addition to theese acquisitions, mobil learning, e-learning, multicultural environment training, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving and reasoning skills as the transversal skills that also expected to gain.
The Project outputs will be disseminate by the reporting to the regional public instutions for local dissemination and Education and Broadcasting Department of Ministry for national dissemination.
