The network of “Mission Locales Nord Pas de Calais”, was organized with two main financial partners, the state and the regional council to establish an organization for young people. The objective is to professionalize the social workers, exchange and harmonize practices, help the various Missions Locales to build projects. The Regional Animation Team ensures the operational implementation of this program with the support of managers and technicians of various “missions’ locales”. This network includes 27 “Missions locales” and assisted in 2013, more than 150 000 young people. This service has enabled the implementation of actions related to the mobility of young people and gave them access to intercultural discovery of 20 European countries and the Mediterranean area.
These actions were performed thanks to the European Voluntary Service, under funding from the youth Action program and thanks to our previous projects LEONARDO MOBILITE entitled VISA JOB, EURO PRO and EURO TIME PRO with these experiments, the “Mission Locale Douaisis” wishes to continue to implement actions to help with the mobility of young people by mean of the Regional Animation Team.
With the success of our previous projects LEONARDO MOBILITE, we propose to organize new mobility actions for young people in the framework of new mobility programs: ERASMUS+.
Our previous projects have mobilized 10 “missions’ locales” of ARML network, by sending 95 young people. The success of this project in terms of results and satisfaction of young people facing to this experience, entrance the drive the go even further.Other local missions of our network also want to get involved in the project. In this context, the Mission locale of Douaisis becomes the mainframe and the organizer of the network.
The Mission locale of Douaisis is a nonprofit association law 1901 who has for mission is to welcome, inform, accompany and support young people between 16 to 25, out of the school system with or without diploma .
In our area the lack of mobility prevent young people to find a job is the main goals. The objective is always to unite the 27 “missions locales” of Nord pas de Calais network around a European mobility project enabling young people with integration difficulties , having a defined career plan , acquire professional, personal and language skills through a training in one of the European partner countries.
We wish to offer to 50 young people of the territory the benefit from this experience: The young people who already have a professional qualification or professional experience in the field of his or her professional project.
