As the technology changes faster than the engineering higher education curricula, the graduated engineers need to adapt their knowledge to the industrial demand for engineers. The project aims to update the educational process in higher educational institutions and raise the vocational qualification of engineers in companies. It will develop an inter-disciplinary e-curricula in integrated engineering, specially mechatronics, inter-disciplinary teaching aids and laboratory exercise modules among engineering disciplines and a knowledge base and software agents for the e-curricula. The target groups are students of universities and higher educational institutions of mecahnical engineering and information technology, engineers and managers of SMEs and teachers of vocational education training institutions including training SMEs.
