Short description: The general objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the Lithuania-Poland border region and to improve conditions of the socio-economic co-operation in it, while rebuilding and reconstructing parts of the old local and regional roads and while strengthening infrastructure development administrative capacities of the regional institutions. The project is implemented in two stages: firstly, the technical documentation on rebuilding and reconstruction of border roads on the Lithuanian side is drawn; secondly, several roads leading to the border with Poland are rebuilt or reconstructed according to the technical documentation prepared.The project is a continuation of the project number 2005/179, where the roads on the Polish side are rebuilt and reconstructed.
