The overall objective of the project is to increase the efficiency of the protection of Ukrainian-Polish border through development of the supporting border guard infrastructure and strengthening of cooperation between the authorities, responsible for border management at managerial and executive levels.Infrastructure development of Ukrainian border guard units will allow to make border guarding more effective, will enhance the capabilities of border guard units in decreasing of level of illegal migration, smuggling and other trans-border crimes.The project objectives will be achieved through implementation of the following activities:Ukrainian SBGS units infrastructure development - refurbishing, renovation or construction of administrative buildings, service apartments, dog pavilions, storages, pumping stations, diesel generator stations, engineer, sewage and supply (water, gas, heat) systems, territory improvement at the existing border guard sections (Ambukiv, Pavlovychi, Korytnytsya, Migove, Syanky, Nizhankovychi, Grabove, Vysotsk, Novogruzke);Purchase of the technical equipment, furniture;Training of personnel, working meetings and general management of the project.
