The applicant’s division in Békéscsaba has established a joint website and aninformation, documentation centre through the development of an institutionalsystem working to promote cross-border cultural, social, research, municipal andeconomic co-operation. The same has been completed by the Voivodinan partner inNovy Sad and the centre has been opened during a cross-border regional developmentconference. The funding has been used to finance the compilation of available regionaldevelopment documents in an integrated and complex system, the preparation of anintegrated cross-border regional development strategy, the connection of potentialfuture project partners as well as the planning and development of further jointprojects.
