In order to achieve economic growth and human resources development in the area, joint developmental aims and strategy determinations will be formulated within the project, and foundations will be laid for the development of a small regional industry park along the Tótszerdahely-Gorican border.Project activities include the elaboration of feasibility studies for the joint industrial park development, preparation of infrastructure plans, the determination of mutual development strategy of the area through workshops for entrepreneurs, human-resource development, local government, etc. Achievements: The joint initiative of the two border communities to develop a common industrial park in the border region was supported within this project by the organisation of several professional workshops within which the best ways to approach the joint development were researched. The joint conclusions about the possibilities of common business initiatives were compiled in a study on economic development, based on which preliminary technical plans for the future industrial park and a business zone in the border region were elaborated.
