Development of a datanetwork to insure contact and information 25 exchange between firefighting units in Slovakia and Hungary (Development of a datanetwork to insure contact and information exchange between firefighting units in Slovakia and Hungary)

The funding has been used to finance the establishment of a network to exchangewritten information, audio and video and image files to insure contacts andcollaboration between Hungarian and Slovakian firefighting units. The relatedcomputer configurations, computer map basic software, emergency analysis softwareand multimedia conference software have been purchased. Users have been trained,the Hungarian and the Slovakian systems have been connected and tested including13 firefighting units in the Nitra district in Slovakia, 18 firefighting units in Komárom-Esztergom, Pest and Győr-Moson-Sopron counties and 3 County directorates inHungary.
