PROJECT
FINISHED
Many young people, who have learned German as a foreign language, want to participate in ERASMUS+ projects and improve their German skills. Due to the fact that most ERASMUS+ programmes are held in English, these young people do not often have this possibility.
The target group of our seminar are organisations, teachers, youth group leaders and youth workers from Programme and Partner countries who speak German as a foreign language. The idea is to provide our target group with information on the ERASMUS+ programme and to motivate the building of international connections and networks. The goal is to prepare concrete new projects in German with the participating countries. in order to put them into practice. Furthermore we would like to show the role of non-formal and informal educational techniques in language accquisition.
The benefit of certification-instruments will be presented, like for example the Youthpass. We will also organize discussions regarding non-formal and informal educational methods, complemented by communication games, group-building activities, methods of decision finding and social group games. Moreover all participants are invited to present their organisations. We will also focus on the planning and application procedure of ERASMUS+/Youth in Action Youth exchanges.
Date and location:
The seminar will take place from 3-9 August 2015 in Grafenbach/Carinthia/Southern Austria with 19 participants of 12 organisations from Austria, Serbia, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.
