We are Uluslararası Gençlik Aktiviteleri Merkezi Derneği which is youth NGO in Kayseri. We will organize KA1 youth exchange project which is name “Democracy Village” - “Demokrasi köyü” The Project will take in KAYSERİ, TURKEY in 03-10.October 2015. Our target group 18 – 25 years old who is interest active citizenship, democracy and youth participation. We will be 40 young people from following countries TURKEY, ITALY, ROMANIA, SPAIN, POLAND and ESTONIA. Each country 5 participants + 1 group leader total: 6 people will participate to our project. We really take care about priorities of ERASMUS+ programme. We will establish with participants village with democratic way. This is big simulation of democracy. OBJECTIVES To understand and expand youth works as well as active participation of youth in daily life in a better and broad way To analyze current democracy meaning in different countries or society. To emphasize the importance of youth participation for democracy To understand the needs' of youth and their potential To develop actions to support democratic and pluralist youth participation To increase Erasmu+ programme among youngster Exchange project will be based on the principles and practice of non-formal education taking into account participant’s needs, motivations and previous experiences as starting point of the programme. Diversity of working methods will be used for learning about youth project management: thinking together, brainstorming, role player, creating new ideas, discussions, debates, simulations, meeting…etc We wil used non formal education methods, youngster will learn ,from eachother, learning by doing, and they participate project actively.
