The overall objective of the project is to encourage youth debate initiatives and networks across the border covering Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg of Hungary and Maramures county of Romania. The specific project objectives are the following: To strengthen capacity of youth networks across the borders; To raise awareness, knowledge and skills of youth leaders in debate mastership; To develop and promote debate culture with the communities of three regions of Ukraine, Hungary and Romania. Expected Results: Estimated results: Established Carpathian International Debate Association – cross-border youth network; strengthening of the debate clubs through on-line digital library, range of educational and promotional materials to facilitate the debate mastership and various sectors knowledge; conducting various cross-border events between young people, like cross-border debate study session, international debate tournaments, debate shows, popularization of debate tradition across the borders, facilitating young active citizens – representatives of target groups who are able to initiate positive social, economic and cultural transformations to their communities.
