To promote and develop cross border tourism along the Danube in Romania and Bulgaria Achievements: The project “Danube Velo Route”, MIS-ETC code 31, with a total eligible value of 436,914 Euro, contributed to the promotion and development of cross-border tourism along the Danube in Romania and Bulgaria and of the regional image of Danube River between Bulgaria and Romania as tourist destination.The main results of the project were: collecting updated data for tourism offers in the cross-border region included in the project web-site www.danube-bike.eu; supporting and coordinating development of the tourist offer in the cross-border region through workshops, trainings and conferences; signposting of the Danube bicycle route; promoting “Danube Velo Route”.
