Since the inception of the idea, CODED Project used an integrated cross-border collaboration and joint planning aproach. Series of meetings and contacts have been established. Joint planning workshop sessions were conducted in order to come up with relevant, realisticand implementable project activity. The project bases its strengths in its approach which will involve strategic planning thorugh local and cross-border participation and input to the project activities. Adequate use of the local potentials and expertise is a success-contributing factor. Project activities have been designed using Logical Framework Matrix approach and Project Cycle Management requirements. The proposed investment measures once implemented will create conditions for a limited intervention with the complementing "soft" measures, designed to showcase the necessity for the existence of: 1) Cultural infrastructure and 2) Ccultural content enrichment and cross-border mobility. Achievements: • Improved public access to culture in the region and the territories of Konce and Yakoruda Municipalities;• Developed cultural competence among the residents in the cross-border region through cross-border initiatives impacting the creation of an enabling environment for cultural content enrichment, cross-border exchange and sustainable development based on the utilization of local cultural resources;• Renovated heating installation at “Svetlina” Community center in Yakoruda.• Reconstructed and modernized Multifunctional Cultural Center in Konce with an area of 530 m2;• Supplied furniture and equipment for the Multifunctional Cultural Centre in the Municipality Konce;• Organised workshops and official ceremonies in both Municipalities;• Held a two-day training on "Harnessing cultural potential Municipality thread to develop their own businesses”;• Workshop on "Basics of Carving in wood and its practical application'';• Adopted plan for sustainability of the project and further operation of the cultural Center in the Municipality Konce;• Considered a model for sustainable cultural products and services.
