The project prepared by the Academic Center of European Information and Education "Culture - Let's Do It" was a series of 3 youth exchanges. Each of them was attended by young people from the Poland, Romania, Italy, Greece and Slovakia - a total of 40 people in a single exchange. Nine-days long meetings were held in Zakopane and Kościelisko. The main goal of the project was to promote intercultural dialogue and deepen cooperation and understanding between young people from different countries, through the knowledge of the culture of countries participating in the exchange, their traditions, literature, customs and national realities of everyday life in the countries where they come from participants in the project. Participants had the opportunity to meet peers from other countries that are not well known to them culturally. This allowed them to learn about the history, culture and language of the countries of their peers, to refute stereotypes and prejudices, and served to promote tolerance and openness towards others. Youth participated in various activities which enabled them to get to know closer and free exchange of views. The issue of cultural heritage, build tolerance, strengthening European identity and awareness in different countries across Europe was a tool which we used to achieve the primary objective. During the exchanges classes ere held in the form of workshops, presentations, games Integration - sports, panel discussions, film screenings, workshops in the field and meetings with the local community. Our actions created friendly atmosphere among the participants and provided a permanent impact on young people. During each of the exchanges young people used the achievements of literature and the arts to promote tolerance and combating stereotypes. Workshops were conducted simultaneously to addressing issues of overcoming social and cultural barriers based on the threads of art show how divisions destroy happiness. Implementation of the project resulted in the promotion of culture, art and literary constituting a joint cultural heritage by the finding in the European cultural heritage of knowledge about how many links people from different countries, like feeling the need of beauty, love and acceptance.
