The group of participants in the project will consist of 28 young people from two European countries (Poland and Hungary) aged 18-25 interested in issues related to european culture. The exchange is mutual. The project "Culture brings us together" focuses on social and cultural transformations in Poland and Hungary after 10 years European Union accession General goal of the project is raising the awareness of young people about the benefits of being a member of EU in social and cultural life in Poland and Hungary as part of workshops about film as source of multicultural education. Particular goals are: increase knowledge about history of Poland and Hungary and relations of both country; reconciliation and intercultural understanding between young people from Poland and Hungary; overcoming prejudices between young people from Poland and Hungary by confronting images of Poland and Hungary in the eyes of national filmmakers; cooperation between project participants through creating film about cultural changes in Poland nad Hungary after EU accession; dialogue between Polish and Hungarian citizens; increase of knowledge and skills amoung project participants within: camera operating,screenplays writing, shots taking and film editing; encouraging appropriate social attitudes to include local community to international dialogue and increase their knowledge about EU, as well as social and individual development of participants and multicultural education. The aforementioned goals will be achieved by planned methods of work, that include: simulation games, stimulation games, panel discussions, brainstorms, workshops, fieldwork. During the project creativity, self- confidence and interpersonal skills of young people will be stimulated. The project will rely on the completion of the seven-day cycle schedule devoted informal education. The project will take place in the Guesthouse in Chałupy, district pucki. Project location was chosen because of the appropriate base housing and equipment allows to carry out the project. Results of the project ( materials and movie made by participants ) will be showed local community, published via Internet ( social portals: Youtube and Facebook, project partner website ) and local press. This will ensure the sustainability of the project, will allow to reach other groups and will promote it among Internet users.
