Cross-border partnership for effective management of the drug problem (Fight against the free movement of problems)

In the framework of the Romanian-Hungarian cross-border cooperation program, care service demands brought about by the drog problem were studied using quantitative and qualitative research techniques and secondary analysis of existing databases. A benchmarking technique was used for performing a comparative analysis in building the structure of the care service systems of the two countries, and development objectives were formulated by taking international standards and profesional guidelines into consideration. As a result of the project, the Interregional Drog Consultancy Forum was established to launch a new program, aimed to encourage further cooperation and international coordination of managing the drog problem in cross-border areas.
