One German EVS volunteer will work within NGO SIQA in Rustavi, Kvemo kartli region, Georgia. SIQA has several ongoing regional programs in Kvemo Kartli, working with regional schools (grade IX-XII) in the frame of a Civic Education program. Within the organization office in Rustavi there are active Youth clubs and English courses (ACCESS program funded by the USA embassy and other grants). EVS volunteer will facilitate within these activities. Facilitating within SIQA’s running programs and youth clubs, implementing own initiatives, European volunteers are bringing new ideas and different approaches about various topics and issues. Within the SIQA’s staff there are persons with big experience in EVS program, they can make the proper personal support for the EVS volunteer . SIQA is working every day, but EVS volunteer will work around 30 hours per week during 5 days. The target group of the EVS activities are youth age 11-19 from Rustavi and various municipalities of Kvemo Kartli region. SIQA is a non formal educational center, therefore main tool for the activities is non formal education, through seminars, workshops, trainings, community activities etc.
